Using BuroWare to Control Costs

A recent study by New York City-based management and technology consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton of 150 CFO’s, found that most cost reduction efforts fail because of misalignments in a company’s service delivery model.

BuroWare eCommerce Module

Are you thinking of building or expanding your ecommerce presence in 2005? Many customers are not aware that BuroWare comes with a sophisticated eCommerce module that allows you to build your own eCommerce storefront. This system called GoToWeb is seamlessly integrated with the BuroWare database and allows you to export customers and product information to a dedicated Internet website.

The GoToWeb software is specially designed with two software subsystems. The GoToWeb client software which is part of the BuroWare server, and the GoToWeb server software which resides on an Internet web server. This advanced architecture is cleverly designed to limit the exposure of your business database to the security threats on the Internet. With GotoWeb’s all your product information, image files and sales information can be easily and securely synchronized between the BuroWare server and the web server.

Using the BuroWare Data Interchange you can send your BuroWare customer and item databases to an external database for web application hosting. When orders are captured on your website, they are synchronized to create sales orders in the BuroWare system. It’s all that easy!
