What is a hosted Solution? - What do I need to run BusinessNow!™
BusinessNow!™ is run over the web and so you access it via your internet connection. All you need is a Remote Application Client and a browser to access it and one (1) PC connected to the internet via a static IP address (necessary for SAP licensing requirements). Softengine hosts and manages the system for all their users on Webair.com servers. You do not have to install anything apart from your connection, Remote Application Client and browser. We manage backups, database, updates, enhancements, patches and server hardware, leaving you to manage your business. We keep your system current over the web making changes painless. - Do I own the software?
You license the SAP Business One software and you are paying for a service which is provided by Softengine, much like you pay for utilities. How do I get started with BusinessNow!™? - How do I learn more about BusinessNow!™ system?

To use BusinessNow!™ system, all you need is access to the Internet. So if you have a computer with a modem (at least one (1) PC connected to the internet via a static IP address necessary for SAP licensing requirements) and a web browser, you have everything you need to run the BusinessNow!™. In addition, we will provide you with Terminal Server clients to access SAP Business One. BusinessNow!™ is also browser-independent and works on Microsoft Explorer (version 6 and above) and Mozilla Firefox (version 3 and above). - How long does it take to get up and running?
Implementation depends on the size and complexity of your business. The key implementation factors include: the quality of the data you will be migrating, the industry-specific solutions and configuration you choose, the number of users you will be training on the system. Most businesses can have their data migrated within the first month, and be completely up and running within 30 to 60 days. - What training and implementation services are available?
Softengine provides eLearning recorded on a DVD or access over the Internet. SAP Business One offers extensive online HELP within the product that helps your users to learn how to perform functions specific to their area of responsibility. Softengine also has a Professional Services group to provide a variety of services, including technical support, customization, individualized training. In addition, Softengine also provides a variety of scheduled group training and webinars. - Can I migrate data into my BusinessNow!™ system?
Data can be imported from many other systems, through CSV (comma/tab separated) files. Our support team is available to do this for you as part of your implementation. - Can I customize or configure my BusinessNow!™ system?
BusinessNow!™ is highly customizable to meet industry-specific needs. Some of this customization can be performed in SAP Business One without programming knowledge; i.e., adding User Defined Fields and Tables, customizing Menus by User Access, special reporting. Our technical support team is available for specific questions. More complex customization can be performed by our professional services group; once detail requirements are defined, we can quote projects on fixed-price basis. Configuration capabilities include industry-specific extensions: Food One, Fashion One, WMS, POS, eCommerce, webCRM. - Can I download data from my BusinessNow!™ system?
You can export your data to Microsoft Excel directly from BusinessNow!™. - What is the cost for BusinessNow!™ system?
BusinessNow!™ is available on a subscription basis for a low per user monthly payment of $125, SAP Business One licenses are offered at a 40% Discount, and a one-time, standard set-up fee is only $3,500 (see DETAILS on the attached Price List). - What is the cost for Maintenance?
There is no cost. Maintenance is included in the monthly subscription of $125 per user per month.
